Trout Brook Provincial Park

- NS Environment has issued a water advisory for Trout Brook Provincial Park due to a blue-green algae bloom in Lake Ainslie. People and pets are advised not to swim in or drink the water until further notice. For more information on Blue-Green Algae please see the NSE website.
Long Lake Provincial Park

Nova Scotia Power is conducting transmission line maintenance work in Long Lake Park this summer. Off-road equipment will be used along the transmission line corridor. No major disruptions to public trail access are anticipated, but there may be periodic site-specific trail closures as equipment travels along the line. We ask the public to observe signage that will be posted during these times. Work is scheduled to begin June 17 and the majority will be completed over a two-week period by June 28. Any remaining weather-dependant work will be completed by the end of July.
MacCormacks Beach Provincial Park
